RS232 to RS485 Converter
The RS232-RS485 converter has been designed to convert signals between an RS232 interface and an RS485 interface. It is often used for CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL applications, and in industrial settings. In 2-wire 'Half-Duplex' mode (RS485), the converter can control the direction of transmission on the bus by means of data flow. In this case, the converter will automatically determine the bus reversal based on the direction of the data being transmitted. This way, it can be used to connect equipment where management is not done through flow control. The maximum data transfer rate is 115.2 Kbit/s.
