How Does It Work?

Interconnection systems use an inverter to convert the direct current energy generated by solar panels into alternating current energy, in perfect synchrony with the voltage and frequency provided by CFE.

  • PV Cable (Module to inverter connection):
    • FJ81 and FJ86 (sold by the meter)
  • Protection Breakers (Direct Current):
    • PL20ACD (1 required per string)
  • Protection Breakers (Alternating Current):
    • PL63ACA
  • AC Wiring:
    • SLY-296-BLK Heavy-duty Copper Cable 8AWG
    • SLY-296-WTH Heavy-duty Copper Cable 8AWG
    • SLY-296-GRN Heavy-duty Copper Cable 8AWG

Installation Notes

  • Inverters require synchronization to deliver voltage, otherwise the equipment will not deliver voltage. If the terminals are measured with the panels connected, the measured voltage should be 0V.
  • It is recommended to use grounding systems (LP-GROUND-30A), install surge protectors (LA302R) and verify operating voltages.
